Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs coach, Steve Komphela, could have hinted that Amakhosi will allow the duo of Itumeleng Khune and Mandla Masango to make a return to the club after saying he was happy with talks between two parties during a radio interview at Lesedi FM on Tuesday Morning.

“The issue of the players is beyond me, but it is in the good hands of the Chiefs management.

“I have been briefed about the meeting, but it’s not my place to talk about it,” Komphela said.

“All I can say is that I’m happy with the progress so far,” he told Lesedi FM.

The Amakhosi coach said he believes talks between the two parties will be concluded soon and Chiefs will announce the outcome.

Kaizer Chiefs have since confirmed that they have held talks with the duo and a follow-up will take place this week.
