Komphela confident in Abraw's ability

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela says he was confident that Camaldine Abraw would deliver against SuperSport United.

The Togolese striker came off the bench to make his official Amakhosi debut and with sheer delight the 25-year-old created two goals.

The first being a perfect pass to George Lebese and the second, a penalty which Siphiwe Tshabalala made sure the ball hit the back of the net from the spot.

“Every time this team takes decisions, they are well calculated. And when they come to be implemented they yield results,” Komphela said as quoted by KickOff.

“We tend to look at a result and forget where the whole thing comes from.

“It was sheer out of confidence and knowledge that the player will deliver and we are happy that he performed and hope that he will continue to in the future.”

Chiefs defeated Gordon Igesund’s side 4-1 at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.
