Cape Town - Steve Komphela will be involved in his first Soweto Derby this weekend when the Kaizer Chiefs face Orlando Pirates in the Carling Black Label Cup at the FNB Stadium.
The newly-appointed Amakhosi coach told Sport24 that derbies are different from other games as it comes with different expectations.
"This is a different game," the former Maritzburg United coach said.
"When you just leave the gate of your house they starting saying like we will beat you or we will beat them, and that's just shows what you should expect on the day.
"Both pairs of supporters want the bragging rights for Soweto and that adds the flavour to the game and that makes it different.
"But I am happy to be here and coach the team that I played for in the derby, and we are looking forward to a win on the day.”
The match kicks off at 15:30.
