Cape Town - Orlando Pirates winger Daine Klate is not resting on his laurels after he was the hero in Saturday's 1-0 win over Free State Stars.
The 29-year-old netted the crucial winner late in the second half of the league clash and earned the Buccaneers a hard-earned three points at the Orlando Stadium.
Speaking to his club's official website, Klate admitted that he was delighted to be the scorer of the important goal that secured his side the victory.
"Obviously any player would like to score goals regularly and I am no different," Klate said.
"But what's more important is the fact that we got what we aimed to get which was the three points on offer."
Pirates moved up to second place thanks to this weekend's result, but the Bucs midfielder acknowledged that they needed to quickly shift their focus to Wednesday's match away against Black Aces.
"The games are coming thick and fast; there is no time to relax," he added.
"The match against Aces will be tough, they are a very good side especially at home (in Mpumalanga).
"They always up their game and do well when playing against us. I have no doubt that their recent victory against Swallows over the weekend will motivate them even more."
