Klate loving PSL title triumph

Johannesburg - Orlando Pirates winger Daine Klate has revealed that winning the title means the world to both the players and fans of the club.

Bucs sealed their first title since 2003 on Saturday thanks to a 2-1 victory over Golden Arrows and Ajax Cape Town's draw with Maritzburg United.

Klate, who signed for Pirates at the start of the season, arrived at Parktown off the back of three successive league triumphs with SuperSport United.

The 26-year-old insists finishing on top of the pile has done wonders for all involved with the club and believes the victory should be attributed to every member of the squad.

"It's tough to win the league and you can see by the celebrations how much it means to the players and the supporters," the Port Elizabeth-born winger told Bucs' official website.

"It's a pleasure to play in this team, the spirit is brilliant and we want to win trophies.

"Obviously, winning my fourth league title means a lot to me but more importantly it's about the team effort and how everybody rallied together to make this possible."
