Khune heaps praise on star pair

Johannesburg - Itumeleng Khune has praised Mandla Masango and George Maluleka after their great performances so far in the season.

According to Soccer Laduma, the Amakhosi captain has high hopes for Masango after the attacking midfielder's blistering start to the season while revealing that George Maluleka's secret to success may be due to his strong mentality.

“Mandla has done very well in the absence of other players, and I wish him everything of the best, he’s been our star player so far and I hope he can keep up the good work," said the Bafana Bafana captain about the 25-year-old.

“He’s a strong boy, mentally,” said Khune about Maluleka.

“He’s played at the highest level for big clubs and knows how handle the pressure and to bounce back from his setbacks.”
