Cape Town - Itumeleng Khune is back in the gym as he continues to work his way back to full fitness following a injury.
Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune has been struck down by a heel injury since the beginning of September but it appears he is nearing a return to full fitness.
Khune tweeted a picture of himself in the gym with the caption: "Working very hard to get my #fitness back.Once you control your mind, you can conquer your body".

The extent of Khune's injury was revealed when he was called up to the Bafana Bafana ahead of the AFCON qualifier against Sudan. South Africa team doctor Thulani Ngwenya disclosed that Khune has a grade 3 stress fracture in his foot and would be out of action for at least six weeks.
The goalkeeper has missed two games for the national team as well as several fixtures for the Glamour Boys including the final of the MTN8 against Orlando Pirates.
