Khune honoured with award

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper and captain, Itumeleng Khune, has retained his Goalkeeper of the Season award at the PSL award ceremony that took place at the Sandton Convention Centre on Sunday night.
 
Khune pipped Moeneeb Josephs (Wits) and Anssi Jaakkola (Ajax Cape Town) to the award in which he pocketed a cheque for R50 000.
 
Khune told the Soccer Laduma website that he was once again honoured to win the award, saying "when you look at the nominees and the goalkeepers in the PSL, then you will agree with me that winning this award is a great honour".
