Cape Town - Former Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Calvin Marlin believes Itumeleng Khune would be a superb addition for the Brazilians.

Khune's contract at Kaizer Chiefs expires in the off-season and he has been heavily linked with a sensational move to arch-rivals Sundowns.
Marlin, who played for Sundowns from 2006-2013, said Khune would most definitely bolster Sundowns’ goalkeeping department.
"Knowing Sundowns they will want to have three top level goalkeepers on their books and someone on the level on Khune would be good for them," Marlin told Football411.
"Of course I think it’s very possible for him to join them during the off-season. Next season they will be looking to come back strong without doubt.
"I know that Kennedy Mweene had some struggles and then Dennis Onyango clawed his way back into the first team.
"Maybe there is too much pressure and fear of making mistakes. Once a goalkeeper starts to worry about making mistakes then it will affect confidence and the performance."
Should the transfer happen, it would be the second time such a move has occurred, following the Brian Baloyi's switch from Chiefs to Sundowns in 2004.
