Cape Town - Ajax Cape Town have confirmed that striker Mabhuti Khenyeza has agreed to terms for a two-year contract with the club.
Khenyeza, 30, joined Ajax in February on a short term deal to help them avoid relegation in the PSL. He responded by scoring seven goals in 12 games with five of those coming in the last four games under new coach Muhsin Ertugral.
They managed to escape PSL relegation by finishing 14th on the log.
Ajax CEO, George Comitis, confirmed the news on their official website.
“Khenyeza was a key player in our last four games and we are keen to secure his services.
"We have offered Mabhuti a new two-year deal, and as the player is a free agent in principle he has agreed to the terms of the contract.”
