Kekana set for SSU return

Cape Town - SuperSport United is closing in on the deal to re-sign defender, Grant Kekana, from University of Pretoria in a move that will see Thabiso Nkoana going the other way.

Sport24 has been informed that the deal between the two teams is almost complete and Kekana will soon be unveiled as a Matsatsantsa player.

Kekana was on the books of Tshwane-based team between 2010 and 2013, but was shipped back to AmaTuks due to lack of game time.

“Look, the deal to bring the defender is almost done and Supersport on the other hand will release Nkoana to Tuks,” the source said.

“The club needed a right back and he was the right candidate based also on his PSL experience.”

Supersport United CEO, Stan Matthews, recently confirmed that the club is going through a shake-up as they prepare for the new season.
