Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Hlompho Kekana thinks that this week will present the ideal opportunity for his team to collect maximum points in the Premiership.

Sundowns’ opponents this week, SuperSport United, lifted the Telkom Knockout trophy on Saturday and Kekana thinks there is the slight possibility that Matsatsantsa will be complacent when the Premiership giants lock horns at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Wednesday.
"It could go either way as they are motivated but at the same time they could be still in celebratory mood," Kekana told Soccer Laduma.
Fixtures between Sundowns and SuperSport are often fascinating affairs, primarily because it is the Pretoria Derby but also because both teams have enjoyed considerable success in the Premiership.
Sundowns are the defending champions and SuperSport are still trying to challenge for their fourth league title.
Just two points separate the teams on the current league standings.
"In football, you don't think about the last result of the opposition but what you can do on the day," added Kekana, who understands as well as anybody that SuperSport United are not to be trifled with, especially while they are under the tutelage of Gordon Igesund.
"So on Wednesday we are going for a win and no matter what, we want the three points," added Kekana, who actually used to ply his trade at SuperSport United.
Kekana has won the Premiership title with both teams, so he knows just how significant this fixture is.
