Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Willard Katsande is expecting a feisty
affair when the league leaders take on Mamelodi Sundowns at The FNB
Stadium on Saturday, but says a win is all that matters.
The Glamour Boys are 11 points clear at the top of the Premiership standings, but will be hoping to extend that lead when they play host to last season's champions.
The Brazilians have not had a great start to the campaign and are currently in fifth in the table with 16 points.
And Katsande has called on his team-mates to do whatever it takes to get the three points at the FNB Stadium at the weekend.
"This is a game that everyone wants to win and also watch," he told SoccerLaduma. "It's not a derby, but it's a very big game and we have to go there on the 22nd of November to win.
"How we do it isn’t really important. We know that Sundowns are a great team with great players. They are always hard to play against.
"For us, we don't think like any team is doing us a favour. When we collect the three points, it's good for the team."
Despite having such a big lead at the top of the table, Katsande insists that nothing is won yet as there is still a lot of football to be played between now and the end of the season.
"Having more points at the moment doesn't mean that we have already won the title," he added.
"We will have to fight hard and win games until the end and make sure that, even on Saturday, we beat Sundowns.
"As I have said, it won't be easy to win, but we’re going for the kill. We want the three points."
