Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Willard Katsande says they will be counting on their huge fan base in Port Elizabeth when
The Zimbabwean hard man is expected to return to Amakhosi's lineup this weekend, having missed the 4-1 thrashing of SuperSport United last week as a precaution after picking up a third yellow card in the previous outing.
"Obviously nobody's guaranteed a place in the team. The guys played well last week and I have to work my way back into the team," he told Football411.
"But I am ready, should I be called upon."
Chiefs will come up against an Urban Warriors outfit desperate to make up for their Nedbank Cup shortcoming, when they lost in last year's final against Mamelodi Sundowns, and Katsande admits Chiefs should be wary of that fact.
"We know Ajax are hungry for cup glory which is why they are playing their second cup final in such a short space of time," he said ahead of this weekend's Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium encounter.
"But we are ready for whatever is thrown our way as the defending champions.
"PE has been home away from home to us for some time now and we are hoping to repay our fans from there as well."
