Cape Town - AmaZulu goalkeeper Tapuwa Kapini could leave the
KwaZulu-Natal-based club when his current contract expires.
The Zimbabwe international is only contracted to the club until the end of the season, meaning that he is free to talk to potential suitors from as early as January.
While Usuthu have indicated they are interested in retaining the 30-year-old's services, the player's agent, Ryan Hartslief, says that a new deal is yet to be tabled.
"Kapini is an experienced international goalkeeper who can play as a local. With him being free from the 30th of June, and being able to sign a pre-contract in January, we will have a few clubs watching the space very closely," Hartslief told Soccer Laduma.
"I have made AmaZulu aware of this, but to date we have not finalised a new deal."
Kapini joined AmaZulu in 2011, having previously turned out for fellow Premiership outfit Platinum Stars and Highlanders FC of his native Zimbabwe.
