Cape Town - 2014/15 PSL champions, Kaizer Chiefs, have the chance to take their prize money earnings past R22 million this season.

As it stands, the Glamour Boys have earned an incredible R20.6 million in a season which saw them do the double but the Soweto giants still have the chance to net another R1.5 million to add to their earnings if they hold onto top spot of the Q4 log with two games left to play.

The league champions face Wits on Wednesday before travelling to Port Elizabeth to face Chippa United on Saturday, May 9 - the day where they will eventually receive their well earned 2014/15 PSL trophy.

Sitting atop of the Q4 log, it looks likely that one win from those two games will see Stuart Baxter's men take home the Q4 title - and the R1.5 million prize money that goes along with it, which will take their season's prize money crashing through the R22 million mark.

Kaizer Chiefs prize money for the 2014/15 season:

R1 500 000 for winning Q1

R8 000 000 for winning the MTN8 Cup

R1 100 000 for their participation in the Telkom Knockout and Nedbank Cup competitions

R10 000 000 for winning the league title
