Johnson excited by Stars duo

Cape Town - Platinum Stars coach, Cavin Johnson, said he was encouraged by the recent performances of the mercurial Masibusane Zongo and Mahlatse Makudubela.

Johnson is relishing the potential combination of dribbling wizard Zongo and the skilful Makudubela after the pair impressed during Dikwena's Maize Cup triumph at the Moruleng Stadium on Saturday.

"I am happy about their performance. If they continue to work hard, show a good attitude and live a healthy lifestyle, they will play," Johnson told KickOff.

"They showed guts and tenacity. As a team we played very well."
