Johannesburg - Platinum Stars coach Cavin Johnson thought his side were a little unlucky not to beat Kaizer Chiefs in their Absa Premiership match on Sunday afternoon.
According to the Soccer-Laduma website, the game finished 0-0 and left Platinum Stars in second place on the log, six points adrift of Chiefs, but Johnson says they will continue to fight and keep the pressure on Chiefs.
“I thought we got it right at one moment the ball just didn’t fall for us,” said Johnson after the match.

“We hit the upright in the first half. I thought we had two or three clear chances in the second half, but they also had some moments in the game where they could have scored.
“I think it was a game where we had the clearer chances and I think we should have maybe won the game.
“I came to try and win the game, but more than anything else we came to try and play football.
“We are happy and the players are happy.
“We almost stole it.
“Second place, we are going to fight for it, if Chiefs slip up we will be on their tail.”
