Johannes adds experience

Cape Town - AmaZulu will want to improve on last season's ninth place PSL finish - missing out on a top-half finish only on goal difference.

Usuthu recorded 11 wins, nine draws and 10 losses for a haul of 42 points.

But their latest acquisition, Robyn Johannes will add much needed experience to coach Craig Rosslee’s defence, deems AmaZulu General Manager, Peter O’Connor.

“The player will offer good options for the coach at the back and much desired experience to the squad,” said O’Connor on the club's official website.

The 28-year-old has penned a one-year deal with Usuthu and has also played for Orlando Pirates, Golden Arrows and Maritzburg United.

AmaZulu take on Ajax Cape Town on Sunday, August 10 at 15:00.
