Cape Town - Orlando Pirates defender Happy Jele is hopeful the team can make up for an abject PSL campaign by making a deep run in the CAF Confederations Cup.

The Buccaneers will finish the domestic season without any silverware, having seen bitter Soweto rivals Kaizer Chiefs wrap up the Premiership title last week, while they also failed in their Nedbank Cup title defence.

However, the Sea Robbers still have a shot at redemption as they face CF Mounana in the CAF Confederations Cup on Saturday, where they hold the advantage from the first leg after securing two away goals in the 2-2 draw in Gabon a fortnight ago.
