Jele, Sangweni ruled out of Ahly clash

Cape Town - The Orlando Pirates technical team has been dealt a major blow ahead of their first leg CAF Confederations Cup clash against Al Ahly.

According to Orlando Pirates website, Eric Tinkler and his team will be without the services of defenders Happy Jele and Siyabonga Sangweni due to suspension.

Sangweni, who has over 29 caps for Bafana Bafana will miss both legs having been already suspended in the early stages of the competition.

With the duo out, Tinkler will have to focus on the likes of Ayanda Gcaba and Tshepo Gumede to fill the void left by his regulars.

Meanwhile, kick-off time for the first leg encounter between Orlando Pirates and Al Ahly has been confirmed for 18:30 on Saturday, September 26.
