Goals from strikers Bongani Ndulula and Benni McCarthy either side of half-time secured Bucs' victory at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in their opening game of the Premiership season.
Now Jali reckons Julio Leal's troops have found their groove and the Sea Robbers supporters can expect similar energised performances as the campaign kicks on.
"That is expected and it will happen for a few more matches. Right now everyone is excited to play, everyone is fresh and everyone has a point to prove," the midfielder told the PSL's official website.
"We defending our title, they (Leopards) want to get off to a good start too so there is lots of motivation and excitement.
"It will be like this in most matches I think. Players want to impress the coach, the fans, and it's good for our football."
The Bafana Bafana international was also taken in with Lidoda Duvha fans' support of the visiting Soweto outfit, even if team-mate Oupa Manyisa got most of the appreciation.
"I don't mind if Ace is the favourite," added Jali. "The crowd inspired all of us and when they cheer me, or Ace or Benni on, it feels good and it gives you more energy.
"It was a fantastic atmosphere and that is what we need to win. Support like that is really appreciated by us.
"It's still early days but I am very positive, very confident about this season and I can't wait for the next match."
