Cape Town - Ajax
Cape Town midfielder Erwin Isaacs has made tremendous strides since his return
to the fray, but understands there is still a considerable amount to do before
he can secure a permanent spot in the starting XI this season.

Isaacs was sidelined by injury throughout the first half of
the season and serious doubts had emerged about his prospects of making a
complete recovery before the resumption of the campaign last month. However,
those fears have since been allayed.
Isaacs is also encouraged by the fact that he has already
scored for his team, during the Premiership fixture against Chippa United last
"It’s time for me to work hard to continue to be in the
first eleven," Isaacs told the club’s website.
"My match fitness will come, as long as I keep going
and play well. When I’m fit, I’ll be working more box-to-box and doing my best
for the team."
Ajax are currently in the fifth position in the Premiership
standings, having accumulated 28 points this season.
The match against Kaizer Chiefs, on Wednesday night, will
offer an opportunity to close the gap between the Urban Warriors and Orlando
Pirates, who are currently seven points ahead in fourth position.
Kick-off is at 19:30.
