PSL
Igesund the 'Special One'

Johannesburg - Moroka Swallows goalkeeper Greg Etafia has likened Gordon Igesund
to Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho, claiming the Dube Birds coach is
truly "the Special One".
Swallows are currently on course to challenge for the PSL title
this season and sit just four points behind leaders Orlando Pirates, who
they drew 0-0 with on Wednesday evening.
Igesund, a four-time PSL title winning coach, has earned plenty
of plaudits during his years in South Africa's top-flight, and Etafia,
who was inspirational against the Buccaneers in midweek, feels the
55-year-old deserves all the praise he has received.
"I call him the Special One'," Etafia told the PSL's official
website. "As a coach, Gordon has everything. He is like a father figure
to the team, and treats everyone as equals.
"To win the league four times with four different clubs speaks
for itself and says everything about him. He is a practitioner; he lives
football and always has the right game-plan for each match.
"All credit must go to Gordon and his technical team for turning
things around, not only this season, but saving us from relegation last
season."
Swallows are next in action on Sunday afternoon as they travel to
the Botshabelo Stadium to take on Bloemfontein Celtic, with kick-off
scheduled for 15:00.
