Cape Town – Following SuperSport United’s loss to Golden Arrows, Gordon Igesund insist that they are now under huge pressure.
Matstastansta’s worrying run in the PSL continued as Arrows clinched a 2-1 victory at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.
Goals by Trevor Mathiane and Kuda Mahachi were enough to see off United after Kingston Nkatha netted a 65th minute consolation goal.
According to KickOff, Igesund believes that the matches against the so-called ‘lower’ teams should be won especially when playing at home.
"We have put ourselves under pressure as a team. As a coach, my technical team... we are under huge pressure now," said the former Bafana Bafana coach.
"These are the kind of games we are supposed to win at home and we didn't.
"We were very bad in the first half, very bad and this is unacceptable. At half-time I had to scream my lungs out and had a go at them and they put in a better performance in the second half.
"It's very frustrating at the moment," he added.
