Cape Town - Questions still remain over the future of Supersport striker, Jeremy Brockie, but Gordon Igesund has told Sport24 that he is sick and tired of all the fabricated speculation.

Igesund has started with his transfer business early, already having signed a number of players. Striker Phumelele ‘Ace’ Bhengu is the most noteworthy signing but Igesund yesterday revealed that he has signed two youngsters who he refused to name.
Speaking about his attacking prospects, the experienced coach seemed confident:
“Attacking-wise I’ve got Kingston Nkhata, (Jeremy) Brokie, (Dove) Wome, Thuso Phala, ‘Ace’ Bhengu so we’re doing our best,” he said to Sport24.
In an instant his confidence changed to irritation as he spoke indirectly about the rumours of a possible swap deal for Brockie and Sundowns player, Thabo Nthethe.
“Just to reiterate, as far as Brockie is concerned, we don’t want any players from anybody.”
“The players that we have identified we have already signed and now they are talking about giving us this player and that one or three players plus money... I am not interested!” he said once and for all.
“They will have more chance of signing Robin van Persie. He’s unhappy where he is. My players are happy, they are here for a reason. They’ve got more chance of signing van Persie than they have of signing Brockie.”
