Johannesburg - SuperSport United coach Gavin Hunt is furious after being linked with the vacant managerial post at Mamelodi Sundowns.
The three-time PSL winning mentor was reported to be on the top of Patrice Motsepe's wishlist, with some publications claiming that the financial incentive offered by the Brazilians would be too much for Hunt to resist.
However, the Matsatsantsa boss rebuffed the speculation and told Football365.co.za: "It's absolute nonsense.
"They're bandying my name around there, it's absolute nonsense, there hasn't been anything of the sort.
"I don't know who is developing this story, I want to make this clear I'm not going anywhere and I have not spoken to anyone about coming to coach their teams - this is rubbish.
"I'm still contracted to SuperSport and I'm happy here, I know nothing about joining them and no one has ever came to me and ask me if I can join them."
It is unlikely that Hunt would take up the Chloorkop post as he is the favourite to succeed Carlos Alberto Parreira in the Bafana Bafana hotseat after the World Cup.
For now, the 45-year-old insists he plans to be at the SuperSport helm again next season.
"I have been reading this story in newspapers and there is no truth at all about it, in fact my plan is to stay with the team again next season," Hunt concluded.
