Johannebsurg - SuperSport United coach Gavin Hunt has emphatically played down his side's chances of winning a fourth consecutive Premier Soccer League title.
The Matsatsantsa boss has seen a number of high profile players leave the club in the off-season, most notably Daine Klate, who joined Orlando Pirates, while Siyabonga Nkosi, Dario Monteiro and Tsietsi Mahoa have also all left.
Bongani Khumalo's future, meanwhile, hangs in the balance as he waits to discover if a January move to Tottenham Hotspur is still a possibility.
Despite signing the likes of Kermit Erasmus, Dipsy Selolwane and Bradley Carnell, Hunt feels his side still have a lot of work to do to regain their championship form of last season.
Hunt told the Citizen: "I don't think we can win the league. I don't know. The thing is, we've lost so many players, and the players that we have are new to the team and will need some time to gel.
"Right now, I feel that we are playing at 40% capacity and one point behind where we should have been at this stage, and we only have six regular players from last season."
