Johannesburg - Multiple PSL-winning coach Gavin Hunt is joining Mamelodi Sundowns in a three-season deal, reports Timeslive.

Informed sources said the knowledgeable Hunt was in Midrand last Thursday for a meeting with general manager Kenneth Makhanya,

Also present at the meeting to discuss the contract was Yugesh Singh, the Brazilians' legal and corporate affairs manager.

"Sundowns bosses have made it clear they are hunting a South African and Gavin has always been No 1 on their wanted list," said one of the sources.

"I know the people involved are going to deny it for a few more days."

Hunt's contract with Supersport United expires on Tuesday. Pirates coach Ruud Krol has denied reports linking him with Downs.

This is good news for rena Masandawana. Hunt is a hunter who strives for success no matter the circumstances. I for one am more happy and can't wait for August. Hunt please offload uncommited players and i know you're already aware of who to have as your player of commitment.
