Johannesburg - Gavin Hunt has once again brushed off Mamelodi Sundowns' interest in Anthony Laffor as the forward is not on the market.
The Brazilians have been linked with the Liberian for well over a year and despite the close of the transfer window, it is understood the Chloorkop outfit are still keen on securing his services.
The SuperSport United boss is accustomed to losing his standout performers every season, but will not allow Laffor to leave in the January sales phase - an important period in the title race.
"There has been a lot of fuss over Sundowns wanting Laffor," he said.
"It happens every season and I am not getting worked up over their approaches simply because Laffor is staying put."
SuperSport clash with the Brazilians on Saturday night in the Tshwane derby - an encounter which has stolen much of the shine from the Soweto showdown.
The title race came down to Matsatsantsa and Downs last season and Hunt believes the league's big spenders will be odds on to win the game.
"Sundowns are red hot favourites to win this game as they have a quality side and will be difficult opponents," he added.
"But the hard facts are I am busy rebuilding the side after having to bring in up to seven new players and basically start from scratch."
But the man who has guided United to three-straight championships warned: "We are still striving for success and cannot be written off."
