Himoonde to leave 'Downs

Cape Town - Pitso Mosimane has confirmed that Zambian defender, Hichani Himoonde, will be leaving Mamelodi Sundowns.

The Brazilians are currently in Zambia for a five-day training camp and Mosimane spoke to the media explaining why the former TP Mazembe centre-back would not be at Chloorkop for the upcoming season.

"Hichani is struggling he is having difficulties with the team hopefully we will be loaning him out or selling him out rightly," Mosimane said to the media at their training camp in Zambia.

"Unfortunately as much as he has some experience, he is struggling to compete for a place with the guys who are currently playing."

The 28-year-old joined Sundowns from TP Mazembe in the 2014 January transfer window but he spent last season back on loan at Zesco United in the Zambian league.
