Hunt stays with SuperSport

Johannesburg - SuperSport United coach, Gavin Hunt has has announced that he intends to stay on as coach of SuperSport United.

Earlier, there were rumours that Hunt might be heading to Mamelodi Sundowns.

However, Hunt has expressed his intentions to stay at SuperSport: "In recent days there has been widespread media speculation regarding my future with Supersport United and more specifically linking me with a possible move to Mamelodi Sundowns.

"I wish to confirm that I was indeed approached by Mamelodi Sundowns during the course of last week and that I was, with the knowledge of SuperSport United, engaged in negotiations with them.

"I have subsequently advised Supersport United of my intention to remain with the club.

"I am fully committed to continuing to work towards achieving further milestones with SuperSport United and look forward to being part of this club's bright future," said Hunt.
