Gabuza out to get his chance

Johannesburg - Orlando Pirates chairman Irvin Khoza confirms that Thamsanqa Gabuza is working hard behind the scenes to get game time.

According to KickOff, the 27-year-old joined the Sea Robbers in August from Golden Arrows last year but has been struggling to get game time.

Khoza maintains that the striker’s lack of game time is because of Kermit Erasmus and Lehlohonolo Majoro being is such good form and that coach Vladimir Vermezovic has final say on who plays.

“It is just that there are other players who the coach prefers at this moment and in that said, the decision is based on the coach,” said the chairman.
