Furman to join SuperSport - reports

Cape Town - Bafana Bafana midfielder Dean Furman is on the verge of signing a deal with SuperSport United, according to reports.

The former Doncaster Rovers player is currently without a club, having failed to impress while undergoing trials at English Championship side Blackburn Rovers after becoming a free agent in June.

While he was initially determined to remain in England, Furman has seemingly made a u-turn on that decision and is believed to be ready to reunite with Gordon Igesund, the man who gave him his international debut.

Furman would bring with him a wealth of European experience, having come up through the youth ranks at Chelsea, while also playing for Scottish giants Glasgow Celtic, as well as Bradford City and Oldham Athletic.
