Cape Town - Platinum Stars coach Allan Freese admits his side has to improve at both ends of the pitch if they are to return to winning ways.

Freese saw his charges slump to a 2-0 defeat against 10-man Orlando Pirates, despite having an extra man for the final half-hour.

Dikwena's profligacy in front of goal is his main concern, as well as their inability to keep a clean sheet in recent games.

Reflecting on what was a disappointing day at the office, Freese told Soccer Laduma: “We made too many mistakes at the back.

“We still have the problem of not finishing what we create.

“We create, but we don’t finish and that is our challenge now.

“We got in (Eleazar) Rodgers and we thought he would help, (Ndumiso) Mabena as well, we thought he would help, but it is just not going right.

“We have to have the patients and go back and fix it.”
