Freese eyes Chippa's Twala

Cape Town - Platinum Stars coach Allan Freese is eager to bring Chippa United midfielder William Twala to the club.

The 24-year-old's contract at Chippa only expires in 2017 however, meaning Stars would have to fork out a substantial amount of money to make the transfer happen.

Freese tells KickOff.com website that Twala has been a Dikwena target for a long time.

"We have always wanted to sign Twala," Freese said.

"When Thuso Phala left us [for SuperSport United] we tried to bring him in, but we did not win.

“He is an effective winger, an experienced player, and I think he can really blend into this team. He is a real quality player, but let’s see if his club will be willing to talk to us.”

"We will discuss the issue when the time is right," he says.

Freese also admitted he is thinking of offloading some of his players in order to make way for the possible arrival of Twala.
