Free State in no coach hunt

Cape Town - Free State Stars have confirmed that caretaker coach Kinnah Phiri will remain in charge until further notice.

According to KickOff, Ea Lla Kota are not looking at CV’s for a new head coach following the dismissal of Tom Saintfiet.

“Phiri is our caretaker coach at the moment, but I know that when people think caretaker coach they think we will announce a new coach two days later,” said Stars’ Public Relations Officer Lebohang Maketa.

“Phiri will be our coach until management feels otherwise, but for now we are not looking for a coach.”

Stars face Bidvest Wits on Saturday, November 22 at Bidvest Stadium.

Kick-off is at 20:15.
