Cape Town - Bloemfontein Celtic captain Bevan Fransman believes the team will pick up form in the second half of the season as new coach Clinton Larsen implements his philosophies.
READ: Larsen remains upbeat.
Larsen took charge in December last year after the club parted ways with Ernst Middendorp, and had little room to settle in as he led his side into a busy pre-Christmas period, securing a win over Black Aces before losing to Orlando Pirates.
The extended break to PSL action due to the 2015 African Cup of Nations will now allow Larsen more time to work with his squad, and Fransman expects them to come out firing when the season resumes in mid February.
"It has been quick transition, the first week for coach Clinton was somehow complicated though; having to prepare for two fundamental games without having time to introduce his methodology," Fransman told the club’s official website.
"The AFCON break will give us time to learn and also the technical team and players will be more than ready come February.
"We really want to work hard and at least finish fourth at the end of the season and that is achievable through dedication and splendid support given by the management," he said.
