Fiston welcomes pressure at 'Downs

Cape Town - As the PSL season approaches, Burundi international Abdul Razak Fiston says he is ready for the pressure that comes with every season and is ready to put in all the hard work that is required.

“Yes I know that, when I was coming here I was aware of the pressure waiting for me at Sundowns.

“I am not afraid of that because I have played at the highest level with my national team so I am not afraid of any pressure.”

Though he comes from a great Kenyan club, he tells Sport24 that he enjoys playing in South Africa because of the level of where South African football is as opposed to Kenya which excites him for what lies ahead at Sundowns.

“I like to play in South Africa more than Kenya because in South Africa, football is at a higher level than Kenya,” he said.

Fiston hopes to enjoy the game as much as he will work hard to reach the goals he has set from himself and strives to show South Africa the skills he has on the field.
