Fiston to miss Aces encounter

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns spokesperson Thulani Thuswa says Abdul Fiston Razak will miss the match against Mpumalanga Black Aces.

The striker picked up an ankle injury against Bidvest Wits which he is still recovering from.

“Well ahead of tonight’s match [August 25] we have Fiston Razak, who is recovering from his ankle injury, from the match against Bidvest Wits last weekend so we won’t be seeing him feature in the match," he told Sport24.

“Nonetheless we have no other injuries, we are good to go."

Thuswa said that the team definitely has a confidence boost from their 4-2 win against Wits and are looking to keep up the winning streak when they take on Black Aces.

“Well after winning 4-2 against the great Bidvest Wits we are looking to keep up that streak because we are definitely on a confidence high because we damn well know how great Hunt’s boys are.

“There will be challenges of course in the match against Black Aces; we shouldn’t undermine what they can actually do.

“Muhsin’s side plays some really good football and enjoyable at the same time.

“They are going to be looking for a win but so are we. It will be a 50/50 on the field but that is football for you.

“I am very pleased that Keagan is back in full form and it no time he will be scoring goals the best way he knows how.

“Themba Zwane,Bongani Zungu, Khama Billiat and Keagan Dolly will definitely be a killer combination at the back and the highlight of the match.

“Altogether with the leadership of Rama Mpahlele the team will be looking sharp out there.

The Brazilians will take on Mpumalanga Black Aces later tonight, August 26 at the Mbombela stadium.

Kick-off is set for 19:30.
