The ex-Kaizer Chiefs number one has been talked about as one of the many potential exits from the Clever Boys ranks during the upcoming transfer window.
The 37-year-old has claimed, however, that he hasn’t even begun to think about where he will be playing next season.
“I don’t have many plans for the future just yet,” said Fernandez.
“I’m just waiting to see what will happen in the next couple of weeks to see if they still need my services.
“At the moment I’m just enjoying my break, focusing on my other career in Real Estate. I haven’t given it too much thought yet.”
When pushed about any interest from other clubs he insisted that he hasn’t been contacted by anyone.
“There has been nothing at the moment. But I have plenty of years left, the body feels good, the mind is still strong.
“I’m still enjoying the game, as long as the muscle between the ears is strong enough I’ll keep going.”
Fernandez began his career at Wits when the club was still called Wits University.
