Cape Town - Burundi international Papy Faty is expected to return to the fray when the Premiership season resumes next week.

Faty has not made an appearance for Bidvest Wits this term after being sidelined from football for a protracted period due to a knee injury.

However, there are strong indications he has recovered adequately from the injury and he is expected to make a tremendous impact when he does return to the squad.

Wits CEO Jose Ferreira told KickOff: "He (Faty) is now registered.

"He is training, and ready to play. The only worry is his match-fitness, but that will come with time," added Ferreira.
