According to KickOff, Fanteni remains positive that he will strike a deal with a Absa Premiership club.
“I’m here and still going strong,” Fanteni says.
“It’s been two challenging years but I haven’t given up on bouncing back because I believe I still I have what it takes.”
The 30-year-old has played in Israel for Maccabi Haifa after he impressed many with his time at Ajax Cape Town.
“Right now I’m training with Maritzburg United and people must not be surprised to see me back in action here or at another club,” reveals the striker.
