Cape Town -Zimbabwean defender Liberty Chakoroma will be looking to impress the Free State Stars technical team after recently commencing trials at the club.
Chakoroma is reportedly on the verge of being offered a contract at Ea Lla Koto, with head coach Kinnah Phiri keen to consolidate his defence after their ninth-placed finish in the Premiership last season, where they conceded 39 goals in 30 games.
The 21-year-old Buffaloes FC enforcer had apparently earlier caught the attentions of Stars' neighbours Bloemfontein Celtic, but it appears the former are ready to pounce.
Meanwhile, Stars captain Paulus Masehe has picked up a muscle strain and has not been training with the team during the pre-season camp.
