FSS mourn Joseph Henyekane

Cape Town - Following the news that Richard Henyekane's brother, Joseph, has passed away, PSL side Free State Stars have expressed their sadness at his untimely passing.

The club released the following statement on their website:

"Free State Stars Football Club would like to extend its heartfelt condolences to the Henyekane family on the passing away of their son, Joseph.

Joseph Henyekane, the younger brother of Stars striker Richard, was also a professional footballer who played for Mpumalanga Black Aces, Golden Arrows and Bidvest Wits.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Henyekane family and the deceased’s friends at this difficult time."

Soccer-Laduma report that Black Aces have requested a minute's silence ahead of their fixture with Bloemfontein Celtic on Wednesday evening.
