Cape Town - Free State Stars will look to end the 2014/15 Absa Premiership in the top eight when they host Black Aces at Goble Park.

Stars racked up a fifth successive victory when they defeated Bloemfontein Celtic 1-0 away in midweek.

The Free State side has claimed 25 points from 14 home matches this season.

Aces recorded a third successive draw when they were held 1-1 at home by Chippa United in midweek.

The Mpumalanga side has claimed 16 points from 14 away matches this season.

AmaZayoni are placed 12th on the Absa Premiership log with 33 points from 29 matches.

In head-to-head stats, Stars and Aces have met in 30 league matches since 1986.

Ea Lla Koto have 11 wins compared to seven for AmaZayoni, while 12 matches have been drawn.

Stars have won six of their 15 home matches against Aces, suffering three defeats in the process.

When the teams met earlier this season, they played to an entertaining 2-2 draw in Mpumalanga.

Kick-off is at 15:00 on Saturday, May 9.
