Cape Town - Former Orlando Pirates defender, Lizo Mjempu, has surfaced at AmaZulu for a trial with the side under Wilfred Mugeyi and his technical team.

Mjempu previously played for Moroka Swallows which was his last PSL club before he disappeared from topflight football.
The Queenstown-born player has been to various clubs in South Africa and Thailand without success, during his search for a club, reports Soccer Laduma.
AmaZulu team manager, Japhet Zwane, confirmed to the Soccer Laduma website that the Mjempu is on trial at the Durban-based side.
Mjempu was previously with Ajax Cape Town and Jomo Cosmos earlier in this career. The 30-year-old worked with both Mugeyi and Ronnie Moroka earlier in his career.
The two coaches are currently in charge of coaching the first team at Usuthu, as the KZN side is still searching for the first PSL win of the 2014/15 season.
