Ertugral wants to return to SA

Cape Town - Former Ajax Cape Town coach Muhsin Ertugral has made it clear that he hopes to return to South Africa.

The Turk resigned from his position at the Urban Warriors in January this year following the death of his foster father.

He has been in Turkey ever since and feels that around September or October he will become available for a return.

“I would love to come back very soon, but for now I am still in Turkey and looking after the family,” he told Kickoff.

He confirmed that Galatasaray have offered him a position as their Sporting Director, but declined and seems eager to jump on a plane back into a PSL club.

“So for now I am finishing all the issues here and hopefully by September I will be back in South Africa.”

But, despite offers in Europe, Ertugral - who also coached Kaizer Chiefs, Santos and Golden Arrows - says he has not been approached by anyone yet in South Africa.
