Cape Town - Mpumalanga Black Aces coach Muhsin Ertugral was angered by his side's performance against Orlando Pirates, despite earning a 1-1 draw on Friday, September 18
Collins Mbesuma netted in added time at the end of the first half to restore parity after Mpho Makola had Pirates ahead early on.
However, the Buccaneers were well in control for most of the game and Etrugal believes Pirates were unlucky not to have won the game.
"I'm very angry because we played with 4 men upfront, trying to put them under pressure but instead the pressure was on us," he said in his post-match press conference.
"Maybe being on top of the league got to our heads. We lost discipline & played poorly. After half time we came out stronger.
"We were organised for about 20 mins then lost our way. We should have been beaten today. Im very angry at how we played.
"Pirates is a quality team, great to watch. They were very unlucky tonight. We can't play like this. Football is about zonal aspects & channels.
"We spoke about these things all week. We worked on how to mark Makola. All Week!"
