Ertugral extends Ajax stay

Cape Town -  Ajax Cape Town has confirmed that Muhsin Ertugral has signed a three-year contract with the club on Tuesday.

Muhsin returned to the Urban Warriors in April the Head of Technical Affairs.

In a statement on the club's official website, he was instrumental in keeping the club in the PSL, collecting eight points the last four games of the 2012/2013 season to ensure Ajax Cape Town’s top-flight status.

At a press conference held at Ikamva, Ari Efstathiou unveiled Muhsin to the media.

"Our immediate objective to bring stability to the club and we are proud to announce that the services of Muhsin Ertugral have been secured for the next three years.

"The credentials of Muhsin are well known, and he has delivered for Ajax Cape Town before.

"We can assure you that he will continue to do so," Efstathiou said.

"The focus can now be where it needs to be, on the team and ensuring our success.”

Ertugral returned to Ikamva after serving on the FIFA Technical panel during the FIFA U-20 World Cup Turkey 2013 to take up the reigns as the Ajax squad prepares ahead of the new season.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
